Spare piston

Found a spare piston in the bike, also domed.

There are a few marks on the piston but the piston width is 52.75mm so what cc would this be used for.

The carburator

Here are some pics of the carbs.  Written on the carb body is 3D2135

The carb body is by Dell'orto and I think made in 2005.  On this side its marked as P1051, there are also bits of the carb marked sparco.

Top view of the carbs I think

The bottom view of the carb, showing the manufacture date.

There is a number on the slide is 07 so what does mean.  The tab shows dell'orto, does that mean that the carb is dell'orto or spaco.

The generator with fan

Here is the generator with integral fan.  Anyone know how many phases it is and what the resistance range is so that I can check that the generator is in a working reliable condition.  Also is it the right one for the scooter, the only marking is that the fan has 150 written on it.

The wiring looks good and found that the woodruff key is missing lost.  Are they that hard to replace?

Ignition module

Here are a few pictures of the ignition module.  Anyone know the resistance settings to check the conditions of the windings?  To see if it will work.

A bit dirty but should be alright.

The clutch

Here's a photo of clutch, haven't checked the plates as I didn't have any circlip pliers to take it apart. Nor do I have the bolt to reattach it to where ever.
This looks like a six spring clutch, springs seem alright.

In the second, third and fourth photo's shows rivets on the bigger 26 tooth cog.  The rivets seem to have got some damage, is this normal or is there something wrong?

More inner gears from the engine

Here is the inner gearing thing.  No idea where it goes in relation to anything else yet.

To my untrained all the gears look like they are in great condition.

The largest cog is 67 teeth, and it looks as if the there are  pressing marks and some thing rattles inside.  The inner cog is 27 teeth, the next is 22 teeth, the next is 17 teeth and the smallest is 13 teeth.

The third photograph shows all the teeth, and once again to my untrained eye, they all look fine and in good condition.

Barrel and head

Looking at the barrel I can see its a three port head, on a two port piston and two port engine cases. Will that have an effect?  The exterior of the base is 66.5mm whist the inner diameter is 52.5mm I think.  I need to recheck the sizes as none of the pistons I have fit.

As in the third and fourth pictures show the rear third port that was covered with a bit of a lilt can.  Is there any benefit in widening up the ports in the barrel?

Here is the head, usual four hole still has the spark plug in but may be replaced or not depending on keeping the head and barrel.

The first photo shows all the fins intact, whilst the second shows the internal part and is quite clean and unmarked. The last photo shows that the head is marked with px125 making me think that the head isn't the original one but a px125 one.  This makes me think that the engine may have be converted to 125, to be ridden on a learners licence.
